Château de Montvason
About
​
We bought the beautiful Château de Montvason three years ago. It was always our dream to own a home in France and this stunning, 19th century Château, is a real-life fairytale come true. With the help of family and friends, we have been lovingly restoring it to its former glory.
​
We opened up our home in Summer 2018 and have had a fabulous time since then, hosting and meeting people from all over the world. It coincided with filming for the 'Escape to the Château DIY' series, which was broadcast on Channel 4.
​
In 2019 we also started offering the option of hiring the entire Château as a 'Gîtes de Sejour', which can sleep circa 16 people, in its 8 bedrooms.
​
In our spare time, we love trying to tame our 10 acres of forest and gardens and listening and dancing to our 78rpm collection of jazz and swing records. We also run a monthly vintage jazz, dance night in London, 'Mouthful O' Jam' and so there is always music playing throughout the Château, as we work, rest and play.
